This is a passive-solar home built with pumice crete walls that are soundproof.  The walls breathe which, I promise, can be felt.  The radiant heat comes up from the floor. Cool in summer, warm in winter.

May 17, 2008   The day I left I stopped in Santa Fe for a couple of hours

on the way to the airport --- wow, the change in energy compared to Taos was a shock ...

you sure have a great spot there.  Here's some photos I took while I was there.  (R)
